Our trip through time takes children on a search for the secrets of the Middle Ages. A maximum of three of the following building blocks can be selected for a tour: 

  1. A walk completely around the Speyer Cathedral enables our junior guests to discover romanesque architecture by means of an intriguing picture puzzle and selected experiences involving different senses.
  2. By climbing down into a mikva, young people encounter one of the special features of Jewish life in the Middle Ages.
  3. By taking on the roles of some of the craftspeople in the Middle Ages, participants gain impressions of life inside the city’s former fortifications.
  4. Once they have ascended the tower that is the Old City Gate, the children become engaged in an interesting treasure hunt involving (un)known structures of the City of Speyer.
